Account & Data Deletion

You can ask us to delete your SRK Client account and the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how to request deletion and exactly what happens.

How to request deletion

Choose whichever is easiest — all three reach the same team:

  1. In the app (recommended): open the app, go to Profile → Privacy & Data → Request account deletion, and confirm. We receive your request immediately.
  2. By email: send a deletion request from your registered email to srktaxaudit5@gmail.com with the subject “Account Deletion Request”.
  3. By phone / WhatsApp: contact us at +91 74180 40882 (WhatsApp). We may verify your identity before acting.

We verify that the request comes from the account holder, then process it within 30 days and confirm by email when done.

What gets deleted

What we must retain, and why

As a tax practice we are legally required to keep certain records even after your account is closed. We retain only the minimum required and use it solely for legal compliance and audit — never for marketing:

Once the statutory retention period ends, these records are securely deleted as well. This approach is consistent with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which permits retention required by law.
